Are you who you think you are?

Are you really what others say you are or whoever you YOURSELF say you are, never mind how negative it could be?
Are you worthy of what other folks say or is it just something they throw at you and then leave you alone to think about it?
Are you something that prays to be influential in another person's life or is it an illusion and you are just someone meant to be left behind and forgotten in the end by those certain people that tell you otherwise?
Are you really who you think you are?
Are you trying to fulfill a blind dream?
Are you just a "today" model, easily forgotten or misread the next day?
Maybe they are just telling you lies to make you feel good about yourself, to kiss your ass, or maybe they ARE truly happy for you?
Okay, so you CAN'T use Photoshop to make eccentric cartooning.
You can't come up with stories that will make the world stare at you with wide eyes and be enchanted by them.
You can't draw well with biro pens.
You can't paint gorgeous masterpieces.
You can't film brilliant movies that will get you cult status.
You can't write funky political satire or beautiful romances or easy-to-follow fairytales.
You are not the smartest person in the world, so you could not possibly get into the college of your dreams.
You think you are going to make the world flip upside-down in the future, but how do you possibly know that?
If you were to die right here and right now then what would change?
Is your living pointless if you are chasing an illusion?
So.... what CAN you do and who ARE you? Ask yourself that, and feed yourself the sad truth or a grand medicine that can heal envy and loneliness.
You are all you have and nothing is going to change whether you force yourself to transform or end up six feet under in a coffin. You say you are going to change, but is it worth it to change yourself just because its how it is supposed to be?
The only place to go is upstairs if you are down with your back against a dead end. So shut up, suck it up if you could, and just live life and see what you are meant or not meant for.
