This was me forcing myself to try something mostly lineless and slapping my ugly mug due to how un-detailed and boring my drawings have been getting; so good ole David Bowie's "Into the Labyrinth" assisted moi.
Crooked Fork is extremely visual-based. I love drawings stuff from it because it is teeming with colors and circus-y surrealism; it allows me to fling characters around and make them do stuff out of context or things that dont make much sense. There's always something flowy I try to achieve when making CF pictures.
Andi this piece is A M A Z I N G *A*God when I saw it the first time I was just stunned by how bright the colours were- and the more I look at it the more it kinda feels... Warm ;w; Like sitting by a fireplace~ At least from the angle I have down here in the comment box There is just this thin line between the elegance of Macy-Lou and the Terror the 'clowns' impose as they seem to be lurking beneath her, yet at the same time it feels like the vulture above her If that is the right bird, darn my memory is acting as a form of protection, or perhaps... Guidance? It's hard to read, especially when you know the story ;w;
ahhh Andi it's great to see some colour splashes from ya!!
/uggghhh everything you create is so vibrant and gorgeous! It's too bad we aren't able to see more development on it yet! I love this and it's lovely transition from light to dark and all of the little wispy details that give this piece so much character. I hope in the future you'll be able to show us more development of this story!
