First full digital piece and LORDY it was fun. C:
For class we had to design a character and so I went ahead and designed my rendition of the mythological folk figure, Father Time. Where else to put a god but on top of the world?

I'd like to show you guys his character sketches and pages but-- pffffffffft. What else is my blogspot for?

He is an official character in a project I am in the middle of creating called "Pantheon".
I'm willing to make it a series of comics and concepts based on immortals and their wild affairs; even so far as possibly making a collaborative idea-based collection of pieces. I'll see. Too much homework and projects to bother thinking of stuff for myself. :D

If you do things like this while still new to digital then I'm not sure if I want to see mastery level work. My eyes might explode form the sheer awesomeness.

It takes me such time when it comes to commenting and I take great shame in that, especially now, when I see your first digital piece!! ;w;
Your artistic skill really shows off Andi- I grow a tiny piece of envy in fact, as even when you work with a medium which is unfamiliar grounds to you, you still execute the most beautiful pieces with an impeccable taste of composition!

I just keep on staring at these subtle folds in his clothes, how beautifully painted they are. There is volume, there is light, there is execution, shading... I still am stunned by this step your art made- it went from cool, to beautiful, to masterful. Your development and striving towards higher grounds constantly astounds me and I couldn't grow to admire you more, Andi :heart:

This piece is beautiful, and as a digital artist I feel some sort of pride for you all the same! It's fantastic seeing the technique mashed up with your style :love:

You've managed to maintain all the beautiful sketchy textury business that goes on in your traditional art, and all this smoothness as well, from the digital art.... I am fangirling all over you right now. :heart: Colors colors colors mmmm~

Well... There's the USUAL depiction of 'Father Time' (old, lovable, kinda pathetic in a way) and then there's THIS version of Father Time.

thus proving that anyone who LITERALLY has final say in when you numbers up really would be a freaky a$$ dude.

Needless to say which version is my favourite :D
