The name was fresh in Sophia's mind; it raised her anxiety level when she should have been feeling dainty. "Meowsician," she said quietly, pupils stapled on the stranger that sat cross-legged across from her. Patiently, she tilted her head in suspicion and asked "do you know Melloni?"
"I know one too many people to recall quickly," Meowsician chuckled tenderly with a loss of secrecy in his character. He grinned a cat's wide smile. "Care to refresh my memory about this Melloni fellow?"

You know what? It's highly obvious that Decembersville is not going to updated for quiiiiite a while. There's no escaping the fact, gentle creatures n' spongers.
So I am illustrating whatever I want now that I would like to share that are kinda like hints or peeks at future chapters and ideas. Here is Sophia and Count Merry-go-Round. C:

For those of you who don't know the reference, it's a funny little hint to the Japanese classic tale "Lone Wolf and Cub" which features a samurai pushing his child in a carriage. I just thought it'd be fun to draw.

I really really want to try out your sketching style sometime. Or just really your general method of going from sketch to finish in works like these; there's just something so special about it considering the blue underlines. It's like seeing the sketch layer incorporated with the lineart

Also it's so much fun just seeing how you're getting more and more variation in facial types and hands, since one can see how much softer Sophia's hand are than Merry's :'D
