_{Last September I snuck a peak at a new tale I made up called "Swiggyrotten". Now its about time that I showed it off a weedly teensy bit more.}

Behold, the Belhin.
If anyone forgot, the Belhin are the king and queen of toys. They rule over Swiggy Bottom, where abandoned toys from childhood are sent to live and love happily after they have been thrown away.

This is an illustration depicting a usual visit to the Belhin; a plush dahling (or "dolling") is standing before them, most likely asking a question or something or other while its rulers listen sweetly. <3

Done a while ago with ink and crayola colored pencils.

WOW. I love the contrast of light and dark here. It's simple, yet stands out and does the piece justice.

I find it interesting that a, ahem, "safe haven" for abandoned toys is ruled by those creeps. Very Tim Burton-esque, if you ask me. You should contact him- he might want to make this into a movie!
Love the pic, by the way. Makes you wonder where the pellets of good lie in the rulers' hearts.

The rulers look quite scary in contrast to the rather sweet toy XD But their silly faces make them funny looking and I think their design is great :3 And I love the colours you've used here and the flash of the spotlight.
